DAILY SCHEDULE

Kid Links programs offer the following daily components:

Circle: Children have the opportunity to share news, work on calendar skills, sing songs, read stories, count, talk about the day's events, and discuss class issues.

Snack: Kid Links provides a nutritional daily snack, which is served family style. Children practice self-help skills by pouring and serving themselves.

Outside Play: Large motor development is the focus of outside play. Climbing equipment, balls, jump ropes, and open space for running and playing are available.

Small Group Time: Children are divided into small, age-appropriate groups to work on the skills that fit their needs. Attention and support is given to each child as an individual. Language and math development, problem solving, and investigative skills are the focus of Small Group Time.

Choice Time: As designed by Creative Curriculum, 7 Learning Stations are available during choice time: Science/Exploration, Creative Art, Block/Construction, Dramatic Play, Writing/Literacy, and Sensory. Although children are free to choose a station to work in, Teachers encourage the children to try new things and take advantage of all the opportunities.

Lunch: Children bring a lunch from home, which is eaten, family style, with the Teachers. Table manners and discussion of nutrition accompanies lunch.
